Ski manufacturer SPURart has developed a ski made of FUSE HMP 200
As part of a cooperation between SPURart, the Standortagentur Tirol and FUSE Composite, a ski model and matching ski poles made of hemp fibers have been developed. In detail, the skis consist of a wooden core layer and 100% hemp fibers as UD and torsion layers for which FUSE HMP 200 was used.
SPURart, based in Innsbruck, Austria, specializes in the construction of customized skis and snowboards. The focus is predominantly on natural materials. An ideal partner, therefore, to test new sustainable materials like FUSE UD Tape. And the results are quite impressive.
But FUSE UD Tape not only looks good, but it also passes the test in the workshop and on the slopes.
The cooperation was initiated by the Standortagentur Tirol, who supports local companies in the implementation of innovations.
